Tomsk Open Laboratory for Material Inspection (TOLMI) was founded in 2010 as a result of winning the open competition to attract leading scientists to Russian higher education institutions.
The laboratory mission is to develop advanced non-destructive testing products, ensuring international recognition of the Russian industry as a high-tech and safe industry.
TOLMI carries out studies in ultrasound tomography, optical topography, x-ray tomography, automation, and robotics of non-destructive testing.
The unit team contributes to the development of fundamental and applied studies in non-destructive testing, new methods of quantitative testing, original equipment, software, and hardware systems for leading industries.
The laboratory invites Russian and international scientists, students, young researchers, groups, and individuals.
