The Laboratory was established to conduct fundamental and applied research in the field of technological combustion for the synthesis of new materials, including nanostructures, for needs of ceramic and defense industries in active collaboration with leading national and international industries, scientific organizations, and universities

  • Development of physical, chemical and technological basis for synthesis of nitrides of 3-4 groups in the air
  • Creation of nitride-containing composites with ceramic and metal matrixes
  • Designing generators of molecular hydrogen based on nanoaluminum and water systems
Main tasks
  • Creation of conditions and attracting leading researchers, research teams, laboratory and universities for joint research projects
  • Development of the Laboratory research and technology basis for fundamental and applied research
  • Training, involving and recruiting young scientists (undergraduate and graduate students) through developing and continually improving academic programs
International Partners
  • Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany)
  • Nuremberg Institut of Technology (Germany)
  • Polytechnic University of Milan (Italy)
  • Institute of Chemical Technology (Czech Republic)
  • Materials Research Center, University of Ulsan (South Korea)
