Overview

Emergency situations (ES), unfortunately, are an integral element of our life. Nobody is insured against emergencies and thus there should be specialists capable of minimizing the likelihood of emergencies and the damage caused by their impact. This is a difficult and dangerous, but very honorable profession. Prevention of emergency situations, liquidation of their consequences, delivery of humanitarian aid, participation in antiterrorist operations require high professional knowledge and skills, and this program can provide them. This program provides students with advanced knowledge of the humanities, socio-economic, natural science, and mathematical and professional skills. The main subjects of the program include organization and conduction of rescue operations; communication and warning systems; rescue equipment and vehicles; fire and explosion protection; radiation and chemical protection; emergency medicine; dangerous natural processes; and others.
