Overview

The program was aimed at training specialist in the area of nuclear technology. It is one of the top national programs in the field of chemical technology of rare, scattered, and radioactive elements. The uniqueness of the program is based on in-depth and advanced knowledge of nuclear technologies and processes, high level of mathematical, engineering and natural science competencies of the students. Close collaboration with leading Russian enterprises in the field of mining and processing of rare, non-ferrous and precious metals allows students to acquire professional skills during the period of study at the University. An integral part of the training is the participation of students in research activities and the implementation of their own scientific and engineering projects. The following academic approach allows training specialists with real skills.

Learning output

The program will equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills, allowing them to:

  • conduct technological processes in accordance with the requirements of technological regulations
  • develop of plans, programs, and methods of material studies and technological process
  • conduct experimental research in the field of materials technology of the modern energy industry
  • prepare theoretical models for predicting properties of materials for the modern energy industry
  • manage teamwork in the production conditions and ensure effective implementation of the technological process
  • develop new technological schemes, calculate technological parameters, and select the appropriate equipment
  • develop source data for designing new technological processes and equipment, supervise of the design process
