Overview | The program was designed to train specialists in the area of the operation of instruments and methods for analyzing and calculating the radiation fields of ionizing radiation sources at the stages of their development, operation and decommissioning; studying effects of radiation on biological objects and the environment, and providing radiation safety measures to prevent radiation accidents. Under this program, the students will be able to participate in the development of scientific and technological projects, related to the design of biological protection of ionizing radiation sources within the real R&D projects. It is worth mentioning, that Tomsk Polytechnic University possesses advanced facility and equipment, allowing students to practice theoretical knowledge and gain practical skills. For example, Tomsk University has more than 30 research laboratories and R&D centers, Nuclear Research Reactors, Material Measurement Center, and many others. Additionally, the area Nuclear Physics and Technology is one of the promising area, which is currently thirsty of good specialists.
