Overview

The program goal is training highly qualified specialists for engineering industries, demanding for designing and implementation of new solutions and technologies. The program graduates have all the necessary skills and knowledge to equally professional at both enterprises and research centers.

 

The program uses the following university facility:

  • authorized SolidWorks and Siemens training centers, including two computer-rooms, equipped with modern graphic stations and multimedia equipment
  • design and technological center, equipped with CNC machines and industrial robots
  • laboratories of automated compact machine tools and complexes for ion implantation, vibrodiagnostics, and acoustics of technical systems, 3D prototyping, tribological engineering studies of construction materials and lubricating media, and cutting tools


Along with this, the program collaborates with national and international industrial and research institutions.

Learning output

The program was designed to equip students with necessary skills, allowing them to:

  • conduct patent studies to ensure patentability of new design solutions
  • determine indicators of the technical level of engineering products and processes, and products of various service purposes
  • develop solutions to project problems, analyze options and make an optimal solution, predict the results of its implementation and plan the implementation of projects
  • develop engineering products and production projects taking into account technological, design, operational, aesthetic, economic, and managerial parameters
  • develop draft, technical and working projects of machine-building production, technical means and systems of their equipment
  • develop functional, logical, technical and economic organization of machine-building industries, their elements, technical, algorithmic and software based on modern methods, tools and design technologies
  • assess the innovative potential of a project
