Overview

The following Master degree program equip students with skills and knowledge necessary for highly qualified engineers and researchers in the development of oil and gas fields. They will meet the requirements of modern high-tech production and will be able to carry out design-and-production and technological activities, to engage in management activities in interdisciplinary areas of the oil and gas industry. Due to the practically oriented and balanced curriculum students will be equally successful as both research specialists and engineers. The program uses special equipment and software in training process.

Learning output

The program was designed to equip students with necessary skills, allowing them to:

  • ensure effective project development, meeting the requirements of the long-term development of the industry (including using CAD and computer technologies)
  • develop and calculate technical documentation at all stages of the design of machinery, equipment and oil and gas production structures
  • prepare technical drawings and blueprints
  • develop technical specifications for  designing and manufacturing of new and improving existing models of machinery, equipment and structures of oil and gas fields taking into account environmental cleanliness, the level of mechanization and automation of production and labor protection
  • organize effective work of workforce based on modern management methods

The obtained knowledge will allow graduates to work as research and analytical staff engaged in development, construction, and testing of equipment and engineering staff, who can efficiently operate advanced equipment, used for development of oil and gas fields.
