Overview

The Master program - Control of Robotic and Mechatronic Systems was designed to train specialists in the field of mechatronics and robotics, automation of technological processes in various production areas, management of complex mobile objects as spacecraft, and land, water and air transport. The Tomsk university has extensive international contacts, allowing to provide international internships of promising undergraduates and graduate students at universities in Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, South Korea, and other countries.

 

The program graduates will have wide and advanced knowledge in the field of automation, automatic control, mechatronics, and robotics. This program equips students with all the necessary skills and knowledge, allowing them to:

  • solve problems, related to modern mechatronics and robotics, their development and implementation
  • apply modern information technologies for research and development of new mechatronic and robotic systems
  • implement experiments and apply methods of their mathematical processing
  • create mathematical and physical models of processes and equipment
  • conduct research and designing activities of automated control to solve the problems, related to automated control of complex objects
  • ensure the development, implementation, and operation of new high-tech control systems for robots and other classes of mechatronic systems
  • conduct diagnostics and assessment of accuracy properties and dynamics of robots, robotic complexes, mechatronic systems for various purposes and performance, technological processes, equipment, and control, using modern methods and equipment for analysis
