To help with your degree planning, we have created a collection of resources that will guide you through step by step.

 STEP 1.

Check application deadlines

  STEP 2.

Fill in online application form

  STEP 3.

Mail a copy of pages with your photo and details of birth from your international passport and copies of degree certificates translated into Russian or English to our office of admissions: omrs@tpu.ru. Note that document requirements vary by program; master in sciences application package must include certified copies of your diplomas and transcripts.

Check application deadlines with the admissions officer. Application processing takes up to two weeks.

 STEP 4.

Pay application fee of 75 EUR (non-refundable).

  STEP 5.

Expect to receive a visa support letter and official letter of admission within one month after admission. Submit them to a nearby Russian Consulate or Consular Section of Russian Embassy as part of your entry visa application package.

Prior to delivery of the visa support letter, contact Embassy of the Russian Federation in your country of residence to obtain more detailed information on visa application requirements. Please confirm your exact mailing address with office of admissions if you wish to receive admissions package by regular post, or wire payment to office of admissions to cover cost of express delivery service.

Typically, student visa application package includes invitation, contract and acceptance letter.

  STEP 6.

Make sure that your diplomas and transcripts are legalized prior to your arrival. Each copy or original document should carry a seal of your country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and subsequently certified by Russian consular officials. Check out website of Russian Consular authorities in your country of residence for details.

  STEP 7.

Purchase your ticket and mail travel details to office of admissions a week prior to your arrival to book a free pick-up service. Bear in mind that baggage allowance is 23 kg for each traveler, and that you will need to drop off your migration card and air tickets at office of admissions upon arrival. You need to arrive in Tomsk five business days prior to first day of classes. Your entry visa should be valid for at least one month after arrival.

Please dress appropriately for the current conditions, and carry a working cell phone after arrival. Email your contact details to office of admission prior to your arrival.
