Roscosmos Days are held at Tomsk Polytechnic University. Organizers prepared a series of events for Tomsk students. Thus, on Wednesday, 20th September students can meet Russian astronaut Sergei Treshchov and take part in three master classes and a space dance flash mob.

The meeting with Hero of the Russian Federation astronaut Sergei Treshchov will take place on 20th September, 14:00, at TPU International Cultural Center (13C, Usov St.).
Mr. Treshchov performed his space flight as an ISS crew flight engineer and as a Soyuz-TM flight engineer in 2002. The mission duration was 184 days 22 hours 15 minutes. During the flight he conducted one spacewalk. At the meeting students can ask the astronaut any questions about his work at the ISS in person. Preliminary registration is required.
Another event in the schedule is a student flash mob. It will take place on Wednesday, 12:30, at the soccer field of the Polytechnic stadium. Participants will ‘build’ a rocket and demonstrate the main stages of spacecraft deployment into the orbit.
Students can also participate in three master classes devoted to ‘Debates. Let’s turn over the galaxy’, ‘Selfpresentation ‘Cosmicly convincing’, ‘The goal-setting ‘From goals to stars’. Tomsk schoolchildren can also meet the astronaut Sergei Treshchov, take part in the Robotron workshop and learn how to sew a parachute. Schoolchildren are welcome to the TPU Lyceum, the children’s technopark Kvantorium and the Academicheskiy Lyceum.
Roscosmos Days are held from September 18 to 23 at TPU. Within the framework of the Days the final of the III All-Russian Youth Scientific and Practical Conference Youth Orbit and the Prospects for the Development of Russian Cosmonautics will be held. Besides, there will be arranged an exhibition-presentation of the developments of Tomsk organizations for aerospace industry.
